Stop saying war. Start saying murder.

So we’re condemning Israel for murdering some people, but not others, then simultaneously giving them more money and ammunition to practice ethical murder in the near future, then continue to demonize Hamas even though we helped save their leader’s life in 1997 and just interviewed him face to face FOUR DAYS ago on CBS but let him walk away because he’s not that huge of a threat, yet enough of a threat to continue going to war with because we’d rather risk civilian lives while trying to kill the man we just met face to face FOUR DAYS ago?…

Man, murder is so complicated. If only I was smarter and had more of the facts I would understand why this murder is ethical and okay. I hate being so stupid. I wish I could be a grown up. Then I could empathize with those poor politicians who have it so hard when they’re trying to murder people in the proper way.

Never let people use the word war. Ever. Interrupt them, ask them to use the word murder instead because that’s what it is, and then tell them to finish their sentence. Fuck your adulthood, your suits, and your false confidence. Murder is murder. America continues to pass near unanimous bills to fund murder. That’s not okay.

Snowden scifi heist book/movie

I want a scifi story where Edward Snowden is captured, but Satoshi Nakamoto is a girl and she secretly had Edward Snowden’s baby. Six years ago. And that the baby has already invented true AI and Virtual Reality, and her mom cashes out $1 billion US dollars worth of bitcoins to fund an android war to find and free Snowden, and then they all escape to an exoplanet that they secretly found intelligent life on. Best heist movie of all time. No competition.

I’m seriously considering doing this as a NaNoWriMo writing project since there’s no pressure to use any restraint or seriousness on the story.

Fronz Radio: Bob Marley - Sun Is Shining (Brand Blank Dubstep Remix)

“I don’t like Bob Marley or Dubstep but I still like this remix” edition.

Okay, so I do like Dubstep a little. A lot. Maybe. Probably. It just usually feels like the most popular dubstep tracks are the worst showings of its genre. I think I found this song through a Red Bull flying squirrel cliffdiving suit video. It would certainly be fitting!

PS3 Puppeteer Game Looks Amazing!

Wow, this PS3 game looks amazing. Like a Nightmare Before Christmas game with mechanics from Little Big Planet and an art influence from Paper Mario, but way more art and animations than any two Paper Mario games combined.

I think it deserves a lot more attention. Don’t write it off just because it’s not made by Nintendo! Check out this video review to see what its gameplay and art style is like:

Dear Monsanto

Dear Monsanto, if you’re going to be evil could you at least branch out and figure out a way to make fruit and bread not expire so quick? Buying a loaf of bread as a single guy is panic inducing. Every morning you realize it’s another day closer to having mold grow on it and trying to figure out how to fit 8 slices of bread into your meals to use it all before it goes bad.

Then you’re full from toast and sandwiches and realize your basket of raspberries are expiring even sooner and you start to sympathize with obesity and Monsanto and get really sad and angry. So you eat more not to be depressed and pass out in a food coma. Then you wake up going through bread withdrawal only to find out your milk just expired. AHHH!

Sometimes I just want a temp girlfriend to make lots of little things in life easier. Who wants to talk about Reddit and share my bread? Why can’t starting a relationship be that easy?

Fun Edward Snowden Conspiracy Theory

What if Edward Snowden contacted The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart months ago about the NSA scandal and Jon faked his “planned” leave of absence for his Middle East documentary film project so he could instead go overseas to privately film Snowden spilling the beans on everything after Snowden went into hiding?

Can you imagine how much the Internet would explode if that were true and the video torrent was posted on The Pirate Bay overnight?

It was a dark and stormy night (Thanks NaNoWriMo followers!)

No, really, it IS dark and stormy, and it’s with great rapidity that I’m typing this because my power had already gone out twice tonight. HURRY!

After posting yesterday’s questions and thoughts on NaNoWriMo’s July’s 50,000-words-in-one-month boot camp I received 60 new followers and several replies as well. You guys rock and I look forward to keeping in touch with all of you next month! Don’t be shy on Tumblr!

Lastly, the topic of cabin mates. I … don’t know. I don’t know what all is really expected or required of them, and while I selfishly want people to read what I write and offer feedback, I’ll barely have time for this project to begin with, so I don’t think I’d be very good at reciprocating any time or attention to your stories that are no doubt very deserving of feedback.

I’ll have to sleep on it a bit more, but thanks again to all of you!

NaNoWriMo? Join me in July and November?

Have any of you partaken in NaNoWriMo’s “write an entire book in one month” challenge? Or have even heard of it? It takes place every November and I’ve been dodging it for at least 5 or 6 years in a row now. I recently found out July is the same challenge, but more of a summer boot camp to get ready for the real November challenge.

I’d love feedback from those who have heard of NaNoWriMo and/or those who have given it a try in the past. I’m pretty sure I will at least get my feet wet this July to see how much time I can free up each night to rapidly write with a “do all revisions later” mentality.

I do worry about copyright and stolen IP, but if I haven’t written a book in the past 5 years then it’s foolish to think I will in the next 5 unless I push myself to write for pleasure more often.

What genres of writing would you like to read about the most?!

tl;dr Expect me to start posting lots of text on my Tumblr in a week!
